Sunday Studio

This workshop is held every Sunday morning at the Nepean Arts Center. This was my first experience with an ‘open’ studio with no instructor. The models generally alternated between males and females every week, and the pose lengths ranged from ninety second gestures to twenty, thirty and fifty minute long poses.

I attended regularly from the fall of 2007 to the spring of 2010.

Back then, I worked in graphite, conte and charcoal, and I didn’t mix media. I didn’t learn the benefits of mixing graphite and conte until a little later.
